Kia Forte US models
The LX and EX include a 2.0L CVVT engine and a standard 5-speed manual transmission, with an optional 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed automatic with the Fuel Economy Package(which also includes motor driven power steering, a smart alternator, and low resistance silica tires).
The SX has a 2.4L engine with a 6-speed manual or optional 5-speed automatic transmission.The EX comes with updated features such as air conditioning, power windows and door locks, cruise control, six speaker radio, a key fob with keyless entry, and turn signal indicators on the side mirrors are added to the standard features of the LX.[citation needed] The SX replaces the tires and wheel covers, adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift gear, a tilting & telescoping steering column, sport-cloth seats, and a metallic finish to the interior. Later production models have Soft-Touch panels on the armrest and door, as well as on the dashboard.

Driven: Naza (Kia) Forte 1.6SX
This is one car that's priced to sell for 2010 in Malaysia. Tagged at RM81,800 it is indeed a value buy for a C-segment saloon, priced even lower - but specified even higher! - than the popular B-segment sedan the ubiquitous Honda City 1.5. Kia has stated that the Forte Koup would be aimed at driving enthusiasts. The concept sports a twin screw turbocharged version of the 2.0 liter Theta II four cylinder engine. With direct injection, the motor allegedly puts out an 289 lb-ft. of torque at 2,000 rpm and 290 horsepower (220 kW).
