In the world of engine swaps, anything goes but it�s always nice to see people experimenting with different kind of builds. For Car Lounge forum member �Phlow�, the patient was a Pontiac Solstice roadster with a weak heart - or so to say. 
While most physicians would prescribe a local LS V8 transplant, this doctor went for something more exotic, to be precise a 2JZ, which is a code name for the Toyota Supra�s twin-turbocharged inline-six.
No matter how talented you are, it takes a lot of guts and an extra dose of craziness to attempt what you are about to see in the video clip after the break, because it�s one thing going around a Ford Pinto in circles and another when the car in question is a Bugatti Veyron priced close to $2 million. The man behind this feat (if you can call it that) is 25-year-old pro drifter Derek "Buttsy" Butler from Ireland. Buttsy performed the�gutsy drift stunt around the exotic 1,001-horsepower supercar in a heavily modified Toyota Supra during this year�s Gumball 3000.
Now that the international auto show circus has shifted into neutral gear for the summer, Toyota is back at the Nurburgring trying out its upcoming FT-86 rear-wheel drive sports coupe, which is been co-developed with Subaru. The prototype seen in these fresh spy spots appears to be wearing a production bodywork while also featuring a host of aero fittings, the most prominent of which is the jumbo-size rear wing that brings to mind the last Supra. 
Talking about the Toyota brand�s last sports coupe with a rear-wheel drive layout, as you can see for yourself in our photo gallery, a mid-90�s example of the Supra was spotted traveling alongside the FT-86 at the Nurburgring. Observing the two cars together, it is not hard to see the resemblance.
